For my mitzvah project I am organizing a personal care item and toy drive to support children and families living in transitional housing. I want them to feel connected and loved by the community. They are going through so much and I want them to have new toys on their birthday and for their parents have what they need.

Homestretch Inc. is a Falls Church, Virginia-based non-profit that helps homeless families with children achieve self-sufficiency through a two-year transitional housing program, providing holistic support like job training, financial literacy, and childcare.
